Sean and Nora's Closes
There have been some questions regarding Sean and Nora's Gift Card Usage. Unfortunately, Sean and Nora’s is closed. I used all our resources to keep Sean and Nora’s going in hopes the summer weather would lead to more diners. Unfortunately, that has not been the case. The restaurant has not been able to hit its breakeven point and has been losing money weekly. I have been putting money into the business to keep it going, but I have no more to put in. This means we have no money to refund Gift Cards either. Sean and Nora's will be open this Saturday night, June 14 for a farewell gathering from 6 until 10 pm. We welcome your gift card use at that time. There will be complimentary food and a cash bar and you may use your gift card for drink and wine purchases.
We also plan to continue offering Off Premise catering. We may be able to honor gift cards as a partial payment towards an event. More details will become available once we have been through the legal process, which may take as long as 9 months. I am truly sorry for this situation
A few folks have had questions about Julio's Cantina. I have no plans to change Julio's in any way. I have no plans to offer Sean and Nora’s food at Julio’s. Julio's is successful as a Mexican Restaurant and has a strong team lead by Brad Giresi. I see no reason to change any of that. Financially, Julio's is not facing the same level of economic challenge as Sean and Nora's.

As far as Sean and Nora's Gift Card transfer to Julio’s, I have been informed by our attorney and accountant not to transfer any gift cards until we have been through the legal process with Sean and Nora's Secured Creditors. This may take six to nine months. After the legal process is completed, I will look at the financial situation of Julio’s and the recommendations of the bankruptcy court and make a decision regarding Sean and Nora's Gift Card Transfers to Julio's. As I stated, this process may take 6 to 9 months. I strongly suggest coming in this Saturday night, June 14, to use your gift card for a bottle of wine and some free food, or holding onto your gift card until the legal process is finished. Again, there are no guarantees your gift card will have any value at that time. I am truly sorry. It has been an honor to serve you all. John
